Essex published Forget Not: Mannington Mills' First Century in December 2016 for one of the United States’ largest manufacturers of residential and commercial flooring. The 144-page book tells the story of Mannington Mills, a fifth-generation, family-owned company with Scottish roots that rose from the ashes of a bankrupt flooring factory in southern New Jersey to become a diverse, multinational firm with operations in eight U.S. states and the United Kingdom. Forget Not captures the drama of Mannington's fire-forged founding and documents the company's frequent rebirth amid changing times, its continual innovation, adherence to a long-held set of unusual values (including Care and Work Hard—Play Hard) and a commitment to being "the best company to do business with in the flooring industry." We produced the book especially for associates (employees), retirees, recruits, distributors, retail customers and members of the Campbell family.
